PixyCAD is now a one-time purchase. Pay once, own it forever. No subscription, no recurring fees, no renewal date sneaking up on you twelve months from now.

The new Maker Lifetime plan is €199 (VAT included) or $179 (plus taxes) based on your location. That’s it. You buy it once and it’s yours.

You asked, we listened

This change did not come from a boardroom or a spreadsheet. It came from you.

Since launch, the single most consistent piece of feedback we’ve received, in support emails, in App Store reviews, on social, has been a version of the same request: “I want to own PixyCAD, not rent it.” Hobbyists who use the app on weekends. Makers who don’t want another monthly bill in their inbox. Professionals who prefer a predictable, one-off cost they can expense and move on from.

We heard it, we discussed about it internally, and we decided you were right. So we changed it.

The feature set is the same as the previous Maker plan. One purchase unlocks all of it, forever:

Starter is still free, forever

Nothing changed about the free tier. Starter is still genuinely free, with no time limit:

• Every modeling tool in PixyCAD
• Up to 2 projects
• Low-resolution STL and 3MF export
• Projects sync across devices

If two projects is all you need, you can use PixyCAD for free, indefinitely. When you outgrow that, Maker Lifetime is waiting, and the cost is fixed the day you buy it.

Why this matters to us

We build PixyCAD for makers, and makers told us they wanted to own their tools. Owning tools is part of how this community works. You buy a 3D printer, you buy calipers, you buy a soldering iron, and they are yours. Your CAD app should feel the same way.
