Find What You Need Faster: Sidebar Folders by Type

Your sidebar is easier to navigate in PixyCAD. Elements can now be grouped by type in folders, so you can open Bodies, Sketches, or another type and get straight to the elements you are looking for.

A clearer view of your design

When a project is small, it is easy to find a sketch or body in the sidebar. As the design grows, that list grows with it. The element you need may still be right there, but finding it means looking past everything else in the project.

Grouping by type gives the sidebar a simple structure. Bodies live together in a Bodies folder. Sketches live together in a Sketches folder. Instead of scanning the whole list, you can go directly to the type of element you want to work with.

Where it helps

Imagine you are building an enclosure. You have several solid bodies for the case and its parts, plus sketches you used to shape openings and details. When you need to return to a sketch, open the Sketches folder. When it is time to work on a solid, open Bodies. The sidebar stays easier to read even as the design gets more involved.

That is the whole idea behind this update: spend less time hunting through the sidebar and more time working on the model.
